What does Reardon suggest to Dagny about giving in to the state?

Henry Reardon is like many of Rand's self-made capitalist characters. Reardon does not want to give in to the state that has done nothing for him except leach from his business. To Reardon the state equals weakness in man. The state seeks to take away whatt ingenuity and hard work have gotten him. I don't have the novel with me but this is what I recall. I hope it helps.
