What is the style of book?

This novel is written in the third person, sixty years after the events of the novel take place. Parts of the novel are written as a postscript (an event in the present), by the time we arrive at the 3rd part of the novel we become certain that it is autobiographical.

The first part of the novel shares elements of gothic fiction; the second part - historical fiction; the ending is ironic and postmodern
