How my wrights experiences and the treatment he received as a small child have impacted his emotional psychological and physical development

This is a pretty broad question that goes beyond chapter one. I can give you a general comment. Richard's childhood made him into a survivor. This is not a good thing for a child. He lost his innocence early. He withstood neglect and abuse since he was a child and lost his childhood.
