in the bluest eye do you think the book should be banned? why or why not

I don't believe that any book should be banned..... ever. None-the-less, I remember when this novel first appeared, and my daughter's high school decided to add it to their curriculum, but they also asked for parental input. Needless to say, that was the first time I read the teaxt, and I myself didn't feel this to be an appropriate text for 13 year old girls, but that's my opinion, and I gave it. But should it be banned? Absolutely not!
