The philosophy of life and death in the World-State?
The philosophy of life and death in the World-State?
This is a pretty involved question but I'll try to outline it. Life is based on material consumption and superficial relationships. Life is to be "enjoyed" and everything, including people, is disposable. The World State manufactures, like Ford, a hierarchy of people to establish a type of order that is ingrained into society. Death is considered a natural process. People are conditioned to accept death as the final end to their commodity because their minerals will be salvaged from their dead bodies.
