Does John have a right to object to this society that he doesn’t understand?

When society took it upon themselves to believe that John Savage needed to comform.... he had every right to object. John was raised in a world where tradition, religion, and individuality were embraced.... he sees what "sameness" promotes, and yes, he has a right to point out its flaws.
