how are linda and john different from the other savages?

It is important to note that Linda isn't actually a savage. She is from the Brave New World yet she still lives a life of "savagery". Linda is aware of another life with different rules. She had an affair with Mustapha Mond and their child was John. John Savage knows nothing about Brave New World. John, however, is very different from the savages on the reserve. He is a specimen of a man. He is also poetic and intelligent. He reads Shakespeare and longs for love instead of sex.
