why is every group/class considered valuable?

Every caste from Epsilons to Alpha have specific functions in society. Epsilons are needed to do the worst jobs in society while Alpha do the intellectual "important" jobs. Each caste is genetically engineered to perform at a certain level. Every caste in between serve a specific purpose. This is how the very controlled society of the state works.
