what does the author mean when he says, “...these dogs and men were not town dogs and men”? Explain your answer using text evidence.
The quote is, for these dogs and men were not town dogs and men. London means that the Klondike was a harsh place not suited to city dwelling men or city dogs. The men and dogs had to be tough and resilient.
