Describe the event when buck is accepted by the pack of wolves

When Buck hears the call and heads for the woods, he knows that he is leaving forever..... he is answering the call and will permanently join his wild brothers. When the pack sees him, they come to a complete stop. The most aggressive wolf strikes out, and Buck snaps his neck, which brings in the rest of the pack, but Buck holds them off. After they pull away, one of the wolves approaches whining softly..... it is Buck's wild brother. The two touch noses, and finally, the pack begins to howl. He is accepted, and they all run off together into the woods.
