The reader will see that most of the people in the story that were in the town of Chamberlain talk about Carrie White as if she were a monster. There is a note that is left in reference to Carrie White, saying that she is burning in hell. By the time that Carrie was using her power at the fullest, there wasn't a person that didn't call Carrie a monster and a killer. While Carrie took the lives of hundreds of people that night, it is noteworthy to look at the other people in the story that took action in some form and their motives.
