I don't know if Adeline got all of the love and attention she so wanted and needed, but Aunt Baba affirms her love for Adeline, as well as her pride in her accomplishments. Her father allowing her to attend school in England, however, is not an act of love..... Adeline has proven herself worthy of pride and admiration..... and she's given the opportunity she seeks. Unfortunately, he father does not act out of love, he acts out of pride.
