Why author used long names( full names) in a text?

Marquez's use of full names adds to our perception of reality and truth in the plot. The plot itself is very confusing and disjointed, nothing is written in chronological order, leaving the reader bewildered by the events as they unfold. The names add cohesion and structure, a bit of reality amdist the unreal.
