Are you referring to the work as a whole.... the pictures, poems, mood, lighting? All of these things together create a detailed illustration of the author's life.... the pain, the life lessons, the defining moments, and in the end, the author's acknowledgment that she "doesn't know how to end what doesn't have an ending." The author's presentation is graphic.... it stays with us and makes an impression.... and in my opinion, she accomplishes what she set out to accomplish, as it is impossible to remain unmoved by the images she presents.
