Hypothetical question about our government and Thoreau's possible suggestions.

Think of any injustice our government is currently engaged in, or might engage in soon. How do you think Thoreau would recommend we act, and would you personally follow through with his recommendation?

You would have to consider America politics as a whole. Thoreau would generally be against taxes taken and spent through a large bureaucracy. He would not have supported institutions like the IRS collecting taxes from citizens. I think Thoreau, if forced to accept a government, might have leaned to what Americans call a Libertarian style government.
