Short Story My Son the Fanatic.

Kureishi’s main purpose in writing the short story “My Son the Fanatic” is to expose his readers to the conflict between cultures which results from immigration. Through this story, I believe he wants us, as readers, to become aware of the reasons for conflict and to inspire debate as to why these differences cannot be bridged.
