Mattie hiccups a lot and has a stroke. Rucker prays for her and she is better the next day but sickens again soon after.She hallucinates seeing an old woman crawling around on her walls. She sees two men with shovels coming from a graveyard. She sees angels, which pleases her, and then dies.
