Coleridge's Poems

After having read Coleridge’s “Kubla Khan,” how does that poem compare to the poetry of Wordsworth, Blake, and Burns? What makes “Kubla Khan” a Romantic poem?

Coleridge is a very different poet from the others you have mentioned. Blake and Burns are usually considered pre-Romantics and Wordsworth, while he is included with Coleridge as one of the older Romantics, focused on nature almost exclusively while Coleridge loved that which is supernatural. Since "Kubla Khan" is an incomplete poem, the beautiful use of language and the picture of "caverns measureless to man" seems almost beyond the belief that anyone could imagine.
