On chapter 18 . "This was a view a man could look at without tiring"(pg. 131). How does Jarvis feel about the land?

Jarvis feels there is a higher purpose to owning land and farming it. He looks out in reverence of the land. He wishes he had good workers who valued it instead of merely working for a wage. Jarvis considers the various problems of agriculture, such as the scarcity of land and the problem of splitting large farms into smaller ones.
