chapter 9
This is a great young adult or teen novel. One of the reasons is that it treats periphery characters like Shakespeare in a positive light. Hopefully this further interests young people in Shakespeare's art. The conflict remains separated from Shakespeare the person. In real life Shakespeare probably wasn't all that understanding to a random boy but the author keeps the tone of the narrative warm when he needs to.
I think William Shakespeare was the most understanding person I ever met. Pg 90
