Cyrano de Bergerac, Act III

This is a question that requires wour own opinion in the answer. Notably, would you be able to woo someone you love for a friend? Me, I'm probably too selfish, whereas, Cyrano was extremely unselfish. He enjoyed the challenge, and thus enjoyed the result. I would assume it was very difficult for Cyrano to watch the woman he loved fall in love with him (and she did), but to believe what she loved was characteristic of another person.
