How hard was it for David and Dora to run their house?

Dora had difficulty running their home because she had no experience in taking care of the house, cooking, or running the household finances. David found this difficult because he loved Dora and never wanted to hurt her feelings. Dora wasn't intelligent, or handy.... she was spoiled and very foolish, but her intentions were unquestionably without malice. They simply did the best they could and worked through it.
