Linda is furious that her sons have humiliated Willy by leaving him at the restaurant. In what way is her defence of Willy ironic?
Linda accuses her son of mistreating his father. She even goes so far as to ask Happy if he had to go to his "lousy rotten whores" This is ironic based upon her husband's own actions in the past.
