Death of a Salesman
Write a note on Boston Scene.

NOE: death of a saleasman.
The scene in Boston takes place in Willy's hotel room, and it's important because it adds to the play's character development. The scene gives us great insight into Biff and the conflicts between he and his father, the hostility between them and Willy's feelings of guilt.
When Biff walks into his father's hotel room and finds him with another woman, his respect for him is shattered, and their relationship changes forever. That's not to say he doesn't love him because he does, but what he's witnessed shapes his life in a negative way that he can't recover from.
