Devil in a Blue Dress
How does Mosley portray women in this novel, beyond Daphne?
Other women to think about are Coretta, Barbara(at the pier), Verne and Rose(at the brothel), Etta Mae(Mouse's women), and Hattie (at John's Speakeasy).

Mosley does not particularly find women admirable. Even though Todd Carter wants to find Daphne because he loves her, the other women are seen as "easy" marks in a sexual way especially. They end up in places where they can be killed, as Coretta is for example.
