Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
How is Dr. Jekyll wrong all along?
What was he wrong about? Be specific please.

Dr. Jekyll was wrong about the fact he could "control" what was happening. A decent and well respected man, Jekyll yearns to experience the dark side, and once there, cannot resist returning to the basest things in life over and over again. This doesn't necessarily mean he likes dabbling in corrupt behaviors, but rather that he becomes obsessed by them....... he becomes addicted. We might compare this to a drug addict who loves the drug but hates the after-affects. If walking away from the addiction were an easy thing, the medical facilities that treat them wouldn't exist, and the people who walk away after treatment wouldn't return. Unfortunately, they often do.
