Mr. Utterson and Mr. Enfield are taking a stroll. They pass by a prosperous street and notice a derelict building that looks out of place. The sight of this building gives Enfield the idea to relate his story of the creepy man who knocked a little girl over near the building. When finally threatened to make amends, the very strange man (Mr. Hyde) went into the building and produced a check. The building will feature later in the story as Mr. Hyde's abode.
Oh yes, the check and signature turns out to belong to none other than.....Dr. Jekyll.
thankyou
