In Robert Louis Stevenson's "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," in chapter 7 "Incident at the Window," page 37, there is a phrase stating "'You should be out, whipping up the circulation, like Mr. Enfield and me.'" What does this phrase mean?
