How would you describe the relationship between Corley and Lenehan in Two Gallants?

They're a couple of opposites who compliment each other. They don't have a friendship based on loyalty, as each of them is constantly believing the other to have betrayed him. Their friendship is based on one commonality, and that would be money. They want money, and they are willing to go out and get it any way that they can!
