Nobodies aren't somebodies. Somebodies have influence, popularity, and sway with the population, most of the time for no reason other than publicity and marketing. Dickinson sees the somebodies as willing to sacrifice all else for fame..... whereas, the nobodies (the category in which she places herself) sacrifice fame and hone their own talents. I think she likes being a nobody and appreciates that what she has to say counts for something.... whatever publicity she does attain is due to her talent and substance....
