How believable is Peter's assertion that he doesn't want to destroy anyone or engage in war? Do you believe he wants "the world to hold together", as he says? Why?

I'm going to say I don't believe him. The guy found pleasure from killing small animals. He tormented Ender for fun and threatened his own little sister. I'd say he's pretty warped.
