Why do you think Orson Scott Card ended the novel with Ender caring for the bugger cocoon and looking for a place of peace for the bugger to awaken?

He wrote the open ending being he intended that there would be another novel afterwards. He already had a portion of the outline written for the sequel to this book when he finished.
