a. Because they are so wealthy, they feel guilty if they don't share their abundance of food

b. Because they believe that if they share, even out of their poverty, God will take care of them.

c. Because some have relatives that have traveled north to America. How can we get angry at Central Americans trying to do the same thing?

d. Their pastors and priests set the example of compassion towards migrants, preaching about how baby Jesus was a migrant to Egypt and how the Bible teaches to show mercy to strangers.
