Chapter 5 What are the positive and negatives of crossing the Grande and traveling by freight train?

 There are "package" smuggling outfits that help people cross the river for a price. Crossing the river at night is somewhat easier to avoid detection. It is however easy to drown. The boats are bad and often capsize. The smugglers are also unscrupulous. Trains are free transportation but they risk getting kicked off or thrown off.
