J.C. Burke
J.C. Burke, or Jane Catherine Burke, was born in 1965 in Sydney, Australia. Born the fourth of five daughters to parents who were both writers, Burke initially trained to be a nurse at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She began publishing stories in 1999 and published her first novel, White Lies, in 2002.
