5) How do you feel about Dee? Do you sympathize with her desire to "improve" herself and her family? Where do you thing she goes wrong?

Dee had goals and intended to reach them. She wanted to have more than her mother….. she wanted nice things….. she didn’t want to scrape for money. I do sympathize and commend her for her goals. I do not believe that she needed to humiliate or mistreat her family.
