Everyman: Morality Play
Was it a wise decision for Everyman to ask good deeds advice? Why?
?
?
Everyman is going about trying to find the right answer to what he can use to face Death with that will, in fact, save him. Part of the point of the play is that Good Deeds will not save one in the end. He does, in fact, make the decision most people of his time would think would be wise, but it turns out that part of the lesson is that Good Deeds will not save one at the end of one's life.
