Lydia didn't just decide to end her life

Lydia thought she was strong enough to swim to the shore after jumping off the boat.
Just like she did with Nath, in a moment of empowerment, hope and self trust she jumped, forgetting she can't swim.

So it should be classified as an accident more than a suicide or murder.

In my opinion, Lydia's death was accidental. She believed that she could make it to shore. She was determined to take control of her life, and sadly, she made a poor decision.
