10. Is it possible that Clarisse is still alive? Explain your opinion.

It is possible that Mildred is lying but then I'd have to give Mildred credit for understanding the affect Clarisse had on her husband. I don't think Mildred was that sophisticated so I'd say Clarisse probably was dead and Mildred was correct when she says Clarisse was hit by a car.
