Mildred would like nothing better than to sit in the parlous watching mind numbing spirit crushing television shows. Mildred would believe she is happy in her superficial vacuous life. I don't think she would actually be happy: she would just accept the status quo as her life.
Clarisse would be happy in a spiritually and intellectually stimulating environment. Clarisse needs meaning so she would read classic literature and flourish in university where ideas are tested.
Faber would like to spend most of his time in a library reading meaningful books. Then he would like the leisure to ponder these books and life in general
