Could anything have been gained by including more information from the time before or after the events of the novel? If so, what could have been added and for what purpose? If not, explain why not.

I appreciated the brevity of this novel. Bradbury gives us a dystopia that we can relate to many aspects of today's society. Disposable items, emotions, relationships...are evident today. Instant superficial gratification is often the social benchmark of our society. More detail might have labored how easily we can relate to this novel. To follow Montag after the city has been destroyed would open up more themes and a whole new narrative that was not part of the original story.
