Bradbury's prophecy has come true to a large degree. Many people don't read unless they are required to. Television, reality TV, gaming systems, social media..... all of these things have taken the place of reading for enjoyment.... or even reading to expand knowledge. Today, most people want instant gratification and advancments in technology have enabled people to have it.
