Granger remarks, “We’re nothing more than dust jackets for books,” and, “We’re book burners too.” (Bradbury 144) What does he mean by this, and how does it apply to students today?

Granger is referring to the fact that each of the men at the camp has the contents of a book.... or part of a book memorized. He infers that their preservation of books doesn't make them special...... their merely the dust jackets..... like book covers, they are protecting the text.
