How does the book end? Explain why Bradbury ends it this way.

The novel ends as the men walk back toward the city..... ready to help mold the world that will grow out of the ashes. In my opinion, Bradbury is alluding to the fact that there will always be those who seek knowledge, and that there will always be those who protect, pass on, and value the truth of that knowledge.
