In Part 2, What does Montag return with after leaving his house guests in frustration? (Mrs Phelps Mrs Bowles after reading Dover Beach

I don't see Montag returning with anything after he read the poem to the women. Montag burns the book, takes the "green bullet" from his ear, and collects the books Mildred has hidden and hides them in the bushes behind his home.
