Repair the broken food safety inspection system and tighten regulations of meat processors who are selling beef for school consumption.
Significantly tighten up controls on meat processors so that dangerous pathogen infestation and huge worker injury rates are reduced. OSHA fines need to be stiffened, the largest so far being $70,000 for death resulting from "willful employer negligence."
The elimination of tax breaks that allow fast food chains to continue to pay low wages and provide little to no training on health and safety.
