On page 123 Alice tells Charlie that 'people have not been bad too you'. do you think this statement applies to Dr. Guarino?

Dr. Guarino has not been good to Charlie. He is a "quack" doctor who Charlie is taken to be seen by his mother. Gaurino uses fake methods to improve Charlie's intelligence, and swindles money from the Gordons.
