How do people react to Elizabeth?

Everyone loves Elizabeth....... even Frankenstein loves her enough to want to marry her, but he puts their marriage aside for an extended period of time because his purpose and goal of creation takes over his life. Frankenstein never stops loving her and does eventually marry her.... only to lose her.
