How does Victor behave while he is creating his creature?

Victor is almost frantic as he creates the monster. He begins to focus only on his creation and essentially cuts himself off from everyone around him. He eats little, sleeps little, and has lost all points of reference. In all things, he becomes a "shadow" of his former self, completely caught up in the creation of the monster because he thinks he has discovered something he truly does not know anything about.
