This needs far more room than I can fit in on this forum. I will say that in the beginning of the story he is intrigued with humanity. Although lonely and confused, he is abandoned by his creator, the creature seeks to learn about people. Instead of being welcomed, he is scorned, threatened and humiliated by people. By the end of the story, the creature has become what people expected him to be.
